THE SHADY MAKER
Shady Crafts was named after Shadow — Shady to his friends — our original chaos creator, unpaid supervisor and occasional source of questionable business advice.
Behind the actual making is Brigette — part-time wambulancer,
full-time collector of questionable ideas, creating original apparel, drinkware and other curious little things from the Sunshine Coast.
Some designs are inspired by life on road, some by a love of all things witchy and weird, and some simply because they made me laugh and therefore needed to exist.
The philosophy is fairly simple: useful things don't have to be boring, weird is a compliment, dark humour is sometimes entirely necessary, and not everything in life needs to be taken seriously.
Shadow handles quality control. Results vary ... but not really.
Made with questionable ideas, good intentions and an unreasonable amount of caffeine.
